Satellite AIS refers to low Earth orbit satellites equipped with AIS receivers. exactEarth, a Canadian company, is a global leader in this field and operates a constellation of such satellites. Ecomarine is proud to be the exclusive distributor of exactEarth in Korea.

Unlike traditional terrestrial AIS, which is typically limited to a range of 50 nautical miles, Satellite AIS enables vessel tracking anywhere on the globe—regardless of distance from shore.
